Deliver 3T Double Girder Overhead Crane to Vietnam
Project Background
A newly built auto parts production base in Haiphong, Vietnam, required reliable lifting equipment during its factory construction phase to handle precision stamping dies and small gearboxes. The client demanded high stability and durability, with equipment capable of withstanding the high-temperature, high-humidity industrial environment of Southeast Asia.
Needs Assessment & Solution Design
Upon receiving the inquiry, Harriet, Sales Manager at Yu’an Crane, led a technical team to engage in in-depth discussions with the client’s engineering team, defining the core requirements:
One LH-type 3-ton double girder overhead crane with a 20m span, for precise lifting of dies and small heavy components
Equipment with corrosion resistance and high-temperature tolerance, plus operational noise below 65 dB
Equipped with intelligent overload protection and limit switches for production safety
Based on these needs, Harriet’s team designed a tailored solution: an LH-type double girder overhead crane with a 20m span, featuring anti-corrosion coating and high-temperature resistant electrical components to adapt to local climate conditions.
Custom Manufacturing & Quality Assurance
Once the proposal was confirmed, Yu’an Crane’s production team began custom manufacturing. All steel main beams were fabricated from Q355B high-strength steel, treated with shot blasting and epoxy zinc-rich coating to resist Vietnam’s humid climate; electrical components were sourced from Schneider to ensure stability at 45℃.
Throughout production, Harriet provided regular progress updates and invited the client’s technical team for mid-term factory inspections, conducting full checks on welds, anti-corrosion coatings, and electrical performance to ensure compliance with international ISO standards.
Cross-Border Logistics & On-Site Installation
After production, Yu’an Crane managed the entire cross-border logistics process, delivering the equipment safely to Haiphong Port via land and sea transport, and assisting with customs clearance and inland delivery.
On-site, the installation team completed 20m span track laying, equipment assembly, and commissioning in just 5 days. During commissioning, technicians calibrated lifting precision and travel stability repeatedly, ensuring the overload protection system met the client’s response speed requirements.
Personnel Training & Client Feedback
Following installation, Harriet’s team delivered a 2-day bilingual training program for the client’s operators and maintenance staff, covering safety protocols, daily inspection checklists, troubleshooting, and emergency response procedures.
Since delivery, the client’s workshop has seen a 35% increase in material handling efficiency, with a significant reduction in manual labor intensity and zero safety incidents. The client’s Production Director commented:
“Yu’an Crane’s LH-type double girder overhead crane is a perfect fit for our 20m-span workshop, remaining stable and reliable even in high-temperature, high-humidity conditions. Harriet’s team provided professional support from design to after-sales training, which we are very satisfied with.”
